Abstract: 

HYPER COMPLEX STRUCTURES APPEARED IN THE PHYSICAL THEORY OF SUPER SYMMETRY HAS BEEN INTERESTED IN PHYSICS AND MATHEMATICS. SUPER SYMMETRY CAN BE DESCRIBED BY LIE SUPER ALGEBRAS USING COMMUTING AND ANTI-COMMUTING VARIABLES. RECENTLY, THE COMPLEX STRUCTURES ON LIE SUPER ALGEBRAS AND INVARIANT HYPER COMPLEX STRUCTURES ON LIE ALGEBRAS HAVE BEEN INTERESTED IN [2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14]. Abstract: 

ACOUSTIC IMPEDANCE (AI) INVERSION ALLOWS MAPPING THE SEISMIC REFLECTION DATA TO LITHOLOGY AND HENCE IT PLAYS AN IMPORTANT ROLE IN RESERVOIR CHARACTERIZATION AND INTERPRETATION OF POST-STACK SEISMIC DATA. THE AI IS OBTAINABLE FROM THE INVERSION OF THE EARTH REFLECTIVITY SERIES. EFFICIENT DECONVOLUTION METHODS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED FOR RECOVERING THE REFLECTIVITY SERIES FROMBANDLIMITED POST-STACK DATA. HOWEVER, THE EXISTING AI INVERSION METHODS OFTEN ARE UNSTABLE.SPECIFICALLY, THEY FAIL TO GENERATE AN ACCEPTABLE IMPEDANCE MODEL WHEN DEALING WITH COMPLEX STRUCTURES BECAUSE OF PROCESSING THE DATA IN A SINGLE CHANNEL SCHEME. CALCULATION OF THE AI FROM THE REFLECTIVITY, WHEN CONSIDERING THE SPATIAL CORRELATION OF THE IMPEDANCE PARAMETERS, DEMANDS SOLUTION OF A CONSTRAINED NONLINEAR INVERSE PROBLEM.IN THIS PAPER, I PROPOSE AN EFFICIENT ALGORITHM FOR SOLVING THE NON-LINEAR IMPEDANCE PROBLEM IN MULTICHANNEL FORM WITH THE TOTAL-VARIATION (TV) CONSTRAINT IN ORDER TO RECOVER IMPEDANCE MAPS WITH BLOCKY STRUCTURES. THIS ALLOWS STABILIZING THE IMPEDANCE MODELS EVEN IN VERY COMPLEX STRUCTURES. NUMERICAL TESTS USING TWO- AND THREE-DIMENSIONAL FIELD DATA CONFIRMED THAT THE PROPOSED ALGORITHM GENERATES MORE ACCURATE WITH HIGHER RESOLUTION IMPEDANCE MODELS COMPARED WITH THE CONVENTIONAL METHODS WHICH ARE CURRENTLY USED IN THE INDUSTRY.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Carney Complex is an autosomal dominant syndrome that is defined with different tumors including myxoma in different organs, endocrine tumors and lentiginosis lesions. This is the first case report of this syndrome from Iran.Case: The patient is a 27 year old girl, referred with flank pain. Physical examination revealed hirsutism, truncal obesity, hyperpigmantasion and hypertension; Cushing's syndrome was suggested and confirmed with related classic biochemical tests. She had history of cardiac myxoma during her childhood and had been operated twice.Pituitary microadenoma and right adrenal adenoma were reported on MRI and CT-scan, respectively. Initially laparascopic right adrenalectomy was done; as expected, no remission in signs of Cushing's syndrome was observed after surgery. By laparoscopic adrenalectomy of the other site, Cushing's syndrome resolved. Pathologic report of 1st operation was adrenal adenoma with surrounding pigmented micronodular hyperplasia and of the 2nd one was just pigmented micronodular hyperplasia.Conclusion: We have reported a patient with Carney syndrome along with Cushing's syndrome due to bilateral adrenal hyperplasia and an adenoma in contralateral adrenal and microadenoma of the pituitary as an incidentaloma. This is a new presentation of Carney syndrome.

Abstract: 

A number of linguistic studies on compounding have acknowledged that due to the existence of head element, endocentric compounds are semantically compositional and transparent. The current study aims to focus on the semantic aspect of Persian endocentric compounds to show that: 1) in some cases, the existence of head element does not entail the semantic compositionality and simplicity of conceptual structure in endocentric compounds, and 2) compound words which are categorized as endocentric compounds differ in terms of the complexity of conceptual structure. Considering that the ability of Conceptual Blending Theory (Fauconnier & Turner, 2002) to describe meaning construction in compound words has been previously approved by some cognitive linguists, this theory has been applied to analyze meaning construction in a number of Persian endocentric noun-noun nominal compounds. A close analysis reveals that although some endocentric compounds are semantically compositional and prompt for simplex networks, there are endocentric compounds which are not semantically as transparent and compositional. In this kind of endocentric compounds, metaphor or metonymy has affected the modifier element, thus meaning construction triggers singlescope networks which are neither as complex as double-scope networks nor as simple and compositional as simplex networks. Abstract: 

In this paper, the problems arising from determining the modal properties of large and complex structures are investigated. For this purpose, the free interface component mode synthesis method has been used. In the following, Singular-Value Decomposition (SVD) is applied as a powerful mathematical tool to determine the appropriate coordinates to participate in the coupling process. Also, the effective error resources including modal shear error and the continuous systems overlapping error and their solution are introduced. Initially, a discrete system has been employed to investigate the free interface component mode synthesis method. Eventually, the studied main samples in this research are beam, plate and cylindrical shell. It is worth noting that the application of this method on the cylindrical shell has not been observed in previous researches.

Abstract: 

Integrating advantages of layer based and tomography velocity model building methods could partially resolve some of the problems in seismic imaging. This integration resulted to introduction of the hybrid tomography methods which try to overcome the problem of handling large velocity contrast by tomography methods. In this study, the velocity model building strategy in the hybrid gridded tomography method was modified to reduce the effect of velocity contrast in depth seismic imaging. The proposed strategy then was applied on a seismic data from a complex geological structures and results depicted that the hybrid gridded tomography, with the presented strategy could be used as an alternative to conventional velocity model building. SummaryThe hybrid gridded velocity model uses the concept of soft and hard regions and boundaries in the initial velocity model. In this approach, regions with anomaly velocity values are defined as hard regions and the rest of the media is considered as soft media. The contacts between regions with low uncertainty in position are defined as hard boundary and experience minimum changes in updating steps. Whilst region contacts with high uncertainty in position are considered as soft boundaries. IntroductionThese boundaries vary in position during velocity model updating. These regions and boundaries are simultaneously and separately updated in each model updating sequence. Updating of hard regions doesn’ t disturb soft regions updating results and vice versa. In the proposed strategy, the conventional velocity model is obtained to be used for defining large velocity contrasts. Afterwards soft and hard regions are simultaneously updated by gridded tomography method. Hard boundaries face small variation in place while soft boundaries might largely vary in location. After sufficient iteration, sharp boundaries are smoothed and finalized in location and together with velocity values. Methodology and ApproachesIn the proposed approach, the seismic imaging with velocity model obtained in each iteration was changed from pre-stack depth migration to post stack depth migration. The selected seismic data contains a large salt dome with surrounding dipping layers, faults and an unconformity beside the salt. Through the hybrid velocity model building, top boundary and the body of salt dome were considered as hard regions. Bottom of the salt was considered as soft boundary. Results and ConclusionsResult of applying the proposed strategy showed that this method could handle large lateral velocity contract in depth imaging. Therefore, depth imaging by the final hybrid velocity model obtain seismic image with more accuracy in positioning of seismic reflectors and body of geological structures in comparison to images obtained by conventional velocity modelling.
